Spoiler ahead. It irks me how Snow White has power to solve her own situation, and yet it doesn't happen. We know sometimes she can take off the shoes, evident whenever she faced difficult situation. Yet she wasn't able to when captured by the witch. Snow White could shuck off the shoes and get free with her super strength. She could lift probable mahogany table thrice her own size, so she can break tree bark and pack a punch. She can lift excalibur, yet that fact is not used for anything other than to fact-check her pure nature. Legendary sword usually have fail-safes so not everyone can use them, yet here is not. There is nothing wrong with Snow White, i like how she slapped one of the obnoxious dwarf and openly showed her displeasure when tricked. She is not vain, not whiny, and respectful. It is simply how the movie went. There is ways for Snow White to fight together with the F-7, yet that does not happen. Merlin's character growth is also questionable. He went from attacking someone with suspicious appearance without second thought to saving Snow White real appearance, even though nothing of note happened to change his mind. Conclusion: good female main character, questionable male character growth, plot holes, disappointing ending.
