See? It’s easy to write the beginning of a story, but it’s a writer’s job to also finish it. Leaving unanswered questions up to the viewer/reader is a cop out (no pun intended). If the writer can’t devise a reasonable explanation, then it’s because there isn’t one, and the viewer/reader has been led on a wild goose chase. It’s very frustrating to trying to solve a mystery that has no solution.
