Surprisingly perceptive and very underrated. I saw this when it came out and the promotional campaign was terrible; this is not a 1980s version of "Superbad" lol. The characters are all college grads or college dropouts, and the film captures that hazy, stoner period of the early 20s, pre-career world very well. Honestly, this is one of Kristen Stewart's best performances and the period detail (1987) and the soundtrack are first-rate. Think of the movie "Waiting..." (also starring Ryan Reynolds) but only if it was written by Woody Allen lol.
