An opportunity lost. The BBC is usually famed for its period adaptions but fails miserably by straying too far from the original story for the sake of heavy handed modern day values being pushed uncomfortably into the mix. Plus it's so boring. What with the inclusion of scenes from the future that dampen any excitement concerning the main invasion storyline.

A brilliant show and proper Star Wars. Plenty of slow burn Tatooine scenes to accentuate Kenobi's mundane existence before the adventures really begin. And he beats Vader again! Classy acting by all but a special call out to Ewan McGregor.
