I really enjoyed the book! The movie was such a disappointment leaving out major detail made me stop watching the movie. I had to make myself continue watching this disappointment. What was so hard to get the actual race of the characters correct? You had the family right, but why wasn’t the main characters the race in the book? I got it you wanted the up-and-coming stars to be featured in the movie which made it appear as though that you were trying to hard to sale the movie. I am pretty sure you could’ve found an actual Jamaican female actor and an actual Korea male actor to play the main character par. At least get that right and the red tie and the pink headsets also! What happened to why they were being deported come on seriously remake please! I got it with the characters in the movie, but to me you are seriously trying hard with the interracial dating. Is the human mind still unacceptable about interracial dating that we couldn’t even get that right with the race, I’m just saying.
