This movie explores the existential human questions: Are we alone and what is our purpose? Brad Pitt is wonderful in this muted character exploration. Donald Sutherland and Tommy Lee Jones do not get tons of film time, but they make their characters unforgettable with their stellar acting chops. The movie is not an action thriller, but the pacing is perfect for the script.
