Beautiful camerawork and scenery. A haunting sad captivating movie. The plot takes a while to work out and in some ways this is satisfying as I didnt know what to expect however it is also a little clunky as the characters dont fully come to life. Poetic enough and visually satisfying enough to be forgiven. The music is beautiful and although some haven’t enjoyed the repetition was so good that i stayed watching the finishing credits just to hear the song. Be in the mood for a haunting, deeply sad, broken humanity type movie or just for the love of Australian scenery. Not a feel good movie. Worth the watch. Interesting Australian characters pop up in this which is great to see (as a big fan of Australian productions).
