Too much of importance & screen time given to the children of Michael Peterson spoils this broth.. It could have been a 5-6 episode crispier version but what we have got is an unnecessarily stretched out mini-series.

Worst of it's kind. Poor screenplay and direction. Jus bcos the plot is based on the happenings of a single day, things are rushed through. Lots of logic less scenes. Nana patekar scores in a couple of sympathy inducing scenes.. The music is good. Nothing else to write about. Poor film!

Occasionally, the movie surprises u with the visual effects which is pretty well done for a low key film. Also, the theme of the movie is pretty original & interesting. But the comic efforts didn't bode well with the proceedings. Ofcourse there are some usual horror tropes as well. Also for it's short run-time it feels a bit dragged out. It's funny how the ghost missed it marks with the lead character in the ending scenes 😄. Overall, a decent, fun watch. Nothing groundbreaking nor nothing much to complain. Verdict: 2.5/5

Yes, the bad movie hype is real for 'the last days of American crime'. It has a potential premise which is thrown down the drain. I found the first half watchable, but it spiralled downwards from there. Over the top performances, non-sensical scenes, tasteless romance, cheesy acting were aplenty. Edgar Ramirez gives a no-emoticon zombie like performance as usual. As the movie progresses, you would realise you didn't care for anything going on in there. With a runtime of 138 minutes excluding the credits, it's in fact an uphill task to watch this.

I was hoping this would be a decent home invasion thriller. But it turned out to be an immature, lacklustre movie. I like movies where a comedy actor plays the antagonist, in this case Kevin James. He looked intimidating at first, but he lost that as the movie progressed.I wanted this movie to be good. But it wasn't. Clichés galored! Lulu Wilson was the only upside.
