Such a disappointing performance by the lead actor and the director and such a grand waste of a plot that had so much potential. The fake moustache itself was a huge turn off and it showed the level of dedication Akshay Kumar had for this movie. Forget the actor, after watching master piece fighting sequences in bahubali, Bajirao mastani, padmavat and others the sequence in this movie come across as amateurish where the director has given zero thought and has just gone with the motion, what should have been USP of the movie turns out to be it's main drawback. Thankfully i dodnt waste money on the tickets for the movieand watched it on Prime, even then i felt that i wasted my Saturday night movie time for this movie.

I did like the way the concept of kalakoot has been treated by the author but while emphasising the severity of it the author has been repetitive in his narration. For a first time author he has dealt well with the characters but again his narration gets repetitive here too, especially while narrating the turmoil and the experiences that the main protagonist has shared with his father and girlfriend. This story had the wherewithal to become a two book series, the ending and climax seemed rushed without proper build up and explanation to the death traps in gupt kandara and the way yogyaveer actually went about building those traps. In other books of similar context these traps were said to be built during the time of mahabharata and earlier, which left the author with the room to say that the engineering marvel of those days was unparalleled here in this regards since the traps were built only during the independence it was hard to believe. Also yogyaveer had such a fine scope of developing into a strong character, unfortunately it was not the case. Unless the author is planning on a prequel of this book this book's rating would linger around 2-2.5
