Jim Gillespie

This is a fun, drama-comedy show that is equal parts absurd and somehow emotional. The acting is good overall (especially Sebastian Stan, who is hilarious as TL; ignore the other Google reviewer who said "he's like 4 foot tall", since Sebastian Stan is 6'). You should know exactly what you're getting into when watching it (based on the title, source material, and production company), and it delivers on that premise in an entertaining way. Don't go in expecting any nuance or deep insight into the nature of relationships (though there is sure to be a bit of that). It's ultimately a fun, semi-stupid comedy and semi-serious drama, and it's thoroughly enjoyable for what it is.

This is a wonderful and beautifully-shot movie (all those symmetrical shots make my brain oh-so happy!). There is clearly a vision / intention from the director that I am not quite getting after one viewing, but I adore this film. I think it is a great work of cinema!!
