I did not care for the movie. I have loved ‘I Love Lucy’ since I was a child and have seen pretty much every episode. I know their relationship was rocky but the depiction made it seem like it fell apart in a week. The time frame was ‘fast’ yet at times I felt like it was dragging on. It was a strange interpretation and I had a hard time seeing Nicole Kidman as Lucy and the guy playing Desi..not even sure of his name, was not right either. Fred was ok, but Ethel was all wrong too. I don’t know if it was Nicole’s Botox/plastic surgery or make up but it was distracting. She had none of Lucy’s vibrance. The movie ended and I was just sad....

Highly depressing and I spent the entire time waiting for something positive. Too many questions, so few answers and at the end all I could sarcastically think was ‘wasn’t that doom and gloom just what I needed this year?’
