A missed opportunity – it could’ve been a fantastic allegory about the difficulties of parenthood but it simply irritates with its subtle as a brick social commentary and unintelligible plot.

Pedestrian. Seemingly written for an audience with a very low IQ who can’t be trusted to remember plot features which featured only two pages before. I had enjoyed the previous Camino book - about the stolen Scott Fitzgerald manuscript - but this was a big disappointment.
