John Grisham has always been a favourite of mine. Reason: his books always bring out the good in people even as it grapples with the uglier side of human behaviour. This book is no exception: Grisham allows you to breathe a sigh of satisfaction at the end (a bit rushed though, in the last 50 odd pages, as if he was chasing a publishing deadline!) - the bad have all been put away, the good are safe, and life is as happy as can be. Grisham' s strength lies in his ability to tell the story anterograde - without deliberately hiding information from the reader. Yet, he keeps one's interest going - it is really difficult to put down his book once you go past the first few pages. Overall, a great insight into the murky world of publishing. Not to be missed, folks!

Have watched the first two episodes till now, and loved every moement of both. Both end in a "Yaaaay" moment! Acting, and direction have certainly come of age in Indian cinema. Makes one feel good and content, much like Maninder!

Not quite sure what Clooney wanted to say with this film. Most dialogues, situations etc are dull and predictable. Being a good man, Clooney wants to give every character (thank god there are just a few!) a reason to live or die, and in the process no one gets much attention!! Pure Hollywood masala!!

A near perfect crime thriller. Exposes the filth that goes for politics, police force, and media in our country. Direction is beyond compare. Every single character is made to give of their best, in dialogue delivery, body language, and their expressions. Jaideep Ahlawat lives the part. And Ishwak Singh matches him frame to frame. That Abhishek Banerjee could convey so much evil with just his eys, is remarkable. He could well be our next Irrfan Khan. Niharika Dutt comes through as extremely talented. Felt sorry for Gul Panag thoguh, for with her kind of talent, she deserved a more meaty role. Except for the unbelievably stupid scene in the mela (last episode), the story line, direction and action are flawless. A riveting serial. I feel I have just returned home, exhausted, after being right there with all the characters. Pity that unlike Sacred Games, the producers decided not to cater for second season!
