The movie was pretty good at showing the reluctant sister of a resistance fighter to assist the allies, Dutchman who enlisted for the German army but was regretting everything after the taste of war and inhumane treatment of high command against deserters and crippled soldiers, and lastly the struggle of an RAF pilot to get to allied territory. I was emotionally invested. Gijs Blom did good in acting the emotions of a teenage soldier enduring the horrors of war.
