One of my favorite movies. Nail biting. John Goodman gives you chills as a villain in this thriller.

Outside of Jessica (Ava) the acting in this movie is dull and frankly amateur. Not a good enough plot to carry the acting. About half way in I'm ready to call it quits.

This movie checks all the boxes when it comes to cinematography, cgi, lighting, and audio. Visually and audibly fantastically done. Unfortunately that's where the praise stops. As many others have mentioned The Midnight Sky's implausible plot leaves much to be desired throughout and leaves you with the trendy open ending but with no real way to sustain the human species long term the ending was void from inspiration and far from thought provoking.
