5 stars for how long I thought about this dang movie after it was over. Peele is very interesting with this approach. There are so many unknowns and possibilities about WHY, I can see why a lot of folks didn’t like it. I still have questions that I hope Peele will answer at some point in the future interviews. Overall it was very suspenseful and kept me alert. I almost didn’t go because I’ve been known to fall asleep in movies before, this one had me animated and for that I appreciate it. Plus I liked how funny Keke was in her role. I also appreciate how versatile Kalua (sp?) is, he played a decent big brother, haha.

5 when I was a child. Only 1 star now so the average wins. The action is great but the trust Rath puts in the smart stupid white girl really irks my nerves. She doesn’t listen and is constantly putting herself at risk and him too but yet he trusts her to do what he says? Just maddening when he’s supposed to be so conscientious and intelligent. I guess love wins(??). I was surprised at the ending both times I watched! Overall, Banderas being cheeky is what made this movie funny and interesting and I recommend it be watched at least once in your life.

This show is good. Unpredictable and enjoyable. I can’t wait for season 3. I like how all the characters are likeable. It was hard to choose a side in most situations. Everyone seems so relatable. I have a feeling KB will have a bigger role coming up, his dad is a snake!

I really like this show. Can’t believe it’s been years! I love how they take real stories and fit them for this screen. But, I really need Liv to start showing love to her Black nieces (or nephews? I can’t remember) but since she is so concerned about her dead brother, why hasn’t the Show shown her having family time with them? Suspect.

It would have gotten more stars had the protagonist not done something completely stupid at the end, which made everything else seem a waste. All the actors were great, including Rami, but I just don’t understand when smart people make dumb decisions, knowing full well the risk that isn’t worth taking. Plus I’m tired of the normative that folks should be sacrificing their lives for their jobs (and I’m not talking about those in the medical field). No. There are definitely protective measures for any high risk job, (spoiler) getting in the car with a killer without calling in backup is not one. Denzel was amazing as usual.
