In interviews about the film the actors are only focused upon themselves their performance their career and show zero emotion zero empathy care nothing about the social complications of a publicly broadcast execution of black man by cop. It was a career move as they say. Empty actors with no soul a pox on them. The real story reemerges in 2021 as new charges are sought in the murderers accomplice another rogue cop on the scene. The brutalization of an innocent commuter on his way home by rogue cops with zero training and his subsequent short 11 month stay in jail shows how cops kill with absolute impunity 100 % tolerance towards self appointed executioners. Terrible directing and acting. I did get a sense of horror of what it was like in that plane and a greater sense of sympathy towards the crash victims but as band characters they werent even cardboard they were the thin plastic lining inside the box of cornflakes. Travesty of a film ultra low budget expoitation to make money from the death of the band members who hired mr. Pyle 3 years before the crash. Despicable. Hey im not done yet. Im incensed. I remember how big this news was in 1977 on FM RADIO. And suddenly mr. Pyle is a "hero". I like bob burns better anyway. This band was destroyed by cheapness in hiring 2 fool pilots to pilot a plane buddy holly wouldnt have flown on. At 5,000 feet with no fuel no power no engines you arent lynyrd skynrd anymore. Youre 26 passengers hoping to survive. These pilots couldnt fly a rubberband. They could have landed that plane somewhere else other than in a tree.
