Brian Callies

I really wanted to like this movie, but they made Amalie extremely and excessively unlikable. She lies to everyone that loves her and cheats on her boyfriend at the very first chance she gets without hesitation or remorse. She then lies to Mikael and treats him like dirt while effectively cheating on him as well by staying together with her boyfriend. When she finally gets caught cheating she doesn't apologize. Instead, when she sees Mikael next she blames him for ousting her, but they dance well together so he immediately takes her back no questions asked. If you just want to see pointless drama and dancing this movie might be passable, but if you value quality writing in the slightest then stay far away from this film.

The game has some very cool ideas that when they work make for a great experience, but once the novelty wears off the flaws really turn the game into a terrible slog. Melee combat is tedious and clumbersome with weapons breaking as fast as you can find them. Exploding zombies look normal from behind and will often blow you up before you have time to identify them. There is no fast travel so you spend 80% of the time just running back and forth from one point to the next.

The acting is decent, but the character returning to the field where they knew a massive horde had gathered was just unbelievably stupid. Also, shotguns do not make heads explode cleanly off or launch bodies flying backwards. The plot kept getting weirder and weirder without any sort of explanation or deeper meaning.
