Anna Margarita Mangubat

It's a show made for the American audience (and maybe the whole of the Western hemisphere). As a Southeast Asian, I am having a difficult time appreciating it the way an American or Westerner would. I would most likely not watch past episode one unless I had nothing else to watch.

I loved it. Granted I am not a super Trekkie (meaning I haven't watched the entirety of the Star Trek franchise) so I could not spot what some fans consider as a failure in the series; but as a simple consumer of stories and tales, I find it fun to watch. The pace was great and the exposition just enough to remind me of past Star Trek lore without inundating it with nostalgia.
