Hollywood has ruined yet another gem by doing a s**** half thought remake. It's laughable how bad it is. The plot makes no damn sense, no character building, they missed an opportunity to use good actors to their full potential but instead used them for superficial reasons....their edgy looks. They pulled a hocus pocus 2 and beat a dead horse. You really can't feel the love between Eric and Shelly like in the original. I stead it feels like two druggies, high and having sex. The characters fell flat. Music is absolutely trash and oddly placed throughout the movie. The only enjoyment was towards the end of the movie when things finally picked up and had to energy to it. Hollywood, stop remaking movies . Have an original thought. I know it's tempting but stop touching our gems lol. Again fka twigs, Skarsgard, and the other well know versatile actors could've added so much more but it was poorly directed and the character lines didn't add much. They did the best they could with the Little they had. It's a shame this is a trend with movies lately.
