Okay…. this movie reminds me of Die hard… if it had a British actor (of whom I think is amazing, nothing against him) with an American accent. I didn’t watch a lot of the film, okay well i watched the whole thing, but i missed most of the plot because of his voice. If you’ve seen as many films as I have with Taron Egerton, the accent is GOING to catch you off guard. The plot is somewhat interesting, feeling somewhat like an off-brand Die Hard. I personally think that the movie would be more interesting if he didn’t try so hard to be American. Egerton also did the same for Tetris (2023) and Billionaire Boys Club, but in those films it felt less forced. In Rocketman( 2019) Eddie the Eagle, Robin Hood (with Jamie Foxx) and the Kingsman Franchise, i felt like i could actually enjoy the film, not wondering who I am watching whenever they spoke. I will have to watch the film again to get the actual storyline. Here, it feels so abrupt whenever Egerton has a line.
