There is no way you can tell me this encompases the relationship of many years and having a child together, It does not even go with what Priscilla has said over the years and many interviews. This portrays a terrible ominus view from the beginning. Not to mention it shows very little happiness in all those years. I know Elvis was no saint but she herself said how wonderful he treated her for the better part of their years together and how much she loved him. She had to deal with his addictions and infidelity which is totally a horrible place to have to be. I understand that part of her needing to leave that situation. Yet in this film she continues taking pills just like he does even when she says how horrible it is that he does it. The whole film portrays him as a very controlling and demeaning man throughout their entire relationship. I was so hoping to see more and learn about their love story and what made them fall in love at such a different ages.... this was just a bashing and pathetic one sided portrayal of a man who had more than just that one side to him. Why does she still want to be buried by him and still talks about how much she loves him and what a wonderful father and husband he was except when on the drugs, none of that is how this movie depicts him. I had high expectations of a true viewpoint from Priscilla and this was disappointing. We did not get to see the parts of Elvis that were good and how hard he was trying to please everyone. We saw a selfish, controlling person who cared only about himself... Sad this is what she wanted the focus to be. The film has little character development at all. It is mainly just a portrayal of an Elvis that is one dimensional. We never feel like we get to know Priscilla as anything but a being held captive to a controlling Elvis. This is not accurate even by her own accounts over the years. The actors are not even believable together... no chemistry at all. Just horrible,
