Grinned my way through the whole first episode. Legend a superb pantomime villain. Strong nostalgic vibes. Decent presenting by the walshes. But I think the thing I liked the most was the emphasis on the contenders. They were well introduced, had fun interacting with the gladiators in the post-event interviews and we even got to know their families a little bit. So when one of them got injured it really meant something and you were rooting for them to recover. Thank you all involved for giving my childhood favourite a new lick of paint (with tongue still firmly in cheek - but what cheeks..)
