The story is relatively simplistic in comparison to new vegas, but the exploration and combat are much improved.
A wide range of weapon and armour choices with different strengths and weaknesses, along with sneak attack bonuses and custom stat boosts make for some very interesting combat.
A bigger map than any fallout game before it, all with a fistful of areas and bosses contribute to some of the best exploration ever.
This game does have its issues, however. Managing 30 settlements at once may be fun to some, but overall, I didnโt enjoy it. Especially since all the settlements can be raided anytime, and, as happened to me multiple times, the game could bug out and not give a notification of this happening, leading to permanent losses of thousands of resources.
This is a great Segway to this gameโs other main problem; the bugs. The main ones I encountered were crashes, sometimes unexplained, sometimes for scrolling too quickly through the pip boy, and, as previously mentioned, no raid notifications.
