They should've just called it Failure to Launch 2 or something lol

The whole possession enactments are cheaply done, so I feel for the actors, including the boy. The last 15ish mins is just a cheap set (production set, stage, woteva). 4 stars bc imho russell crowe had to make up for all that, and succeeded, through to the end. His accent is omg nailed. Daniel zovatto, i like to think, really helped him carry the load of the movie, i guess bc he thankfully didnt have to act possessed LOL I think the director was unfair as a result. So im glad i didnt pay movie tix to see it. Well done russell and the rest of the cast!👏🏾👏🏾champions.

The cinematography is basic (thanks to the tight*ss director or simply being low budget movie - hence the 4 stars) which makes you "see" whats not there ie makes you think you know better. The acting is superb. Minimal plot holes imo (contrary to what the ego-inflated dumb*sses claim - their reasonings amount to a whole lot of nothing.) it's based on statistics of inept human behaviour (per characters in said movie) in a tense high-stress panic situation, it's a The ppl whinging about the movie obviously dont know sh*t. You panic. You freeze/flight/fight. Common sense and logic out the window. Bravo to the actors for giving it their all, incl maggie q, whose performance was unfairly expected, but achieved, to carry the movie all the way. 👏🏿👏🏿
