Yes the storyline is simple. But it's execution that matters and Venom is executed very well. And no matter how good a plot is, if it's not executed properly everything just turns out to be in vain. Moreover, its not always necessary to make a movie so twisted that some people end up getting nothing. All we want is entertainment and Venom is very entertaining. I really liked VENOM in the movie(his dialogues😂) Overall, i liked the movie and would like to give it 8/10( minus 2 for the weak or u can say SIMPLE plot). Go watch it.
