With so many male paired "buddy comedy action movies" dominating the genre it was refreshing to finally have one with a female pair that worked.. and worked really well! Witherspoon and Vergara show great chemistry and they both have excellent comedic timing throughout this movie. The scene where the two are handcuffed together trying to steer a tour bus full of elderly tourists while simultaneously coordinating a shoot out is action comedy at its finest.. The movie is full of great moments and plenty of plot twists..Casting this pair was smart and the two play off each other in a way that shows the magic of pairing actors who's wide range of experience let's them have fun with their characters... My only complaints with this film are that it seems to sort of "short change" the rest of the cast (a common characteristic of the genre) and there is a bit of missing conclusive action that was either left out or cut from the climax..but overall this was a fun movie that doesn't lag at any point throughout.
