I nearly walked out many times. Take a simple biblical story and twist it so completely so it loses its very focused intent - that's what this mess of a movie attempted. I asked you why a hard working virtuous mother would need to sing a lullaby on the phone to her baby while she sits with a beer, no less, in a bar after a 17 hour shift instead being home with her child? Who writes this tripe? Make her in the bar for a girl's night out birthday party checking the clock to go jome, if you must. Just an awful mess of a movie with fine satanic acting by one character. The rest...just awful.
