I am a common, retired woman with a 40+ year spiritual walk, influenced primarily by Graham Maxwell's teachings going through the Bible book by book to see the larger picture of God's character. I really believe God led me to The Lost Meaning of the Seventh Day. I am someone who needs to see the bigger picture and Dr. Tonstad takes evidence throughout history and documents why ancient teachings, perceptions, and cultures have diluted such a gift of God's commitment to us. I was amazed by his clarity of thought and presentation of the facts, not opinions. I just finished his videos on Revelation (which is touched on in the book) and wish I could find a way to contact him and let him know how much it deepened my faith in God's character. I had been taught Divine Retribution and it was confusing to me. ("If you have seen me, Jesus said, You have seen the Father"). Thank you sir, for your exhaustive efforts, study, and courage to swim against the stream of popular thought. You certainly protected God's true reputation.
