Overall the show was good. Hardly the best show of its kind in any way, but an enjoyable watch, and that's all I could ask for. My only great disappointment with the show was the climax. The grail was at the center of the plot, and it ends up sidelined at the very end in favor of the love triangle plot. Unlike the rest of the show, I have nothing good to say about this aspect of the plot. The king, who was made to be thoroughly likeable throughout the entire show suddenly becomes a rather strained villain. The biggest problem is that his revenge is almost completely justified. Aside from the baby-killing, nothing he doesn't isn't, well, fair. Plus, he seemed like such a likable guy up to this point that I simply can't empathize with the queen in her cheating. Frankly, I didn't want to cheer for either side in the final duel, and when Landry ended up losing, my only thought was "well what did you expect?" That having been said, these problems were only in the last episode, so overall, the show stands up pretty well. I still liked it, despite my complaints.
