Hated it. I don’t understand why they are trying to link in all these random characters and stories in together. The movie is called secrets of dumbledore and there was literally nothing in there about him. This is an incredibly intriguing and complex character, they could have done so much better. There is so much that can be done in the wizarding world, they need to tell stories like marvel not throwing in random tokenism into the film to try and get a like (room of requirement, mcgonagall, book of monsters). The first movie was great because it was focused on newt and his story, there was actual character development. If they want to do a newt series then stick with the that but stop trying to link it in with other story lines because you are not doing it justice. I don’t know what is worse this or the cursed child book.
