I love this show, it is incredibly violent and how you say, gritty.I wasn't impressed with the first episode until I rewatched it and then I couldn't wait to see the second episode.I have to say that episode two contains one of the most vicious fight scenes that I have ever seen on any television show that I have watched.I am looking forward to this coming Sunday night for episode three.Even though this show is not a Hollywood production it is without a doubt a production of high quality and very well written and performed.If crime drama is what you like in terms of t.v.by all means do not miss this show.It is in my opinion top notch television.
