this was an absolute mess of a movie. No continuity from the original, no context, no relevance, no structure, just some lame attempts to leverage the original's small musical content for a highlight and then back to hamfisted attempts at unrelated comedy. Not unsurprising that Geena Davis and Alec Baldwin managed to avoid this train wreck.
