My grandmother grew up in the early 1900´s with this book. She was the maternity hospital cook in Kurow NZ for many years and Im sure this was the cooking bible of the day. My Mum followed the tradition and I still have here cookbook from the mid 1950´s.
Its a family heirloom with dog tagged corners and egg wash stains throughout.
