Being a builder with over 40 years experience in construction and after having previously undertaken a many renovations and refurbishments, and having also built lots of extensions and converted both small and large loft areas into useful living space, I feel compelled to say that the most important part of assessing the potential of any project, is being able to study the 'footprint' of the property. It is a shame in this technological age that any 'property programme', especially one as popular as 'Homes Under The Hammer' has not found a way of allowing the viewer to see this, both before and after any work has been carried out.
