Wow just finished Lean on Pete. I’ve never heard about the movie. I just came across it on HBO/Max. This movie was very good. It had me on the edge of my seat at times, then nervous other times. It had me feeling for the lead character Charley…hoping and praying he would find “home”. The relationship between Charley and Pete was very sweet. Pete was Charley’s pal. I loved it. Steve Buscemi was very good as a curmudgeon of a man. I’ve liked Buscemi since Con-Air. I won’t give anything away, but there are some sad parts. But I felt a very good movie, definitely worth watching.
