I'm trying to like this, but the writing has sucked though the effects & actors are sincere & appear to be doing their best.. `need to get back to the roots of science fiction, the distinctness of the Doctor as not human & having real mystery about themself. it's gone almost 'scooby-doo' like in it's approach to explain everything, and pump in PSA's.. that trashed a couple of episodes for me. better writing can leave people with questions to discuss, without foregone & obvious answers being explained down to them. Right now it's treating the audience like a bunch of kindergarteners at story time. truly hope that this wises up, drops all the political threads & social programming messages, and that Jody gets a chance to redeem the Doctor as a character before passing the sonic screwdriver to whomever inherits the role.
