I have bought every Forza game since Motorsport 2. This iteration is by far the buggiest game they’ve put out. On multiple occasions the game loses hours of saved data. Since there is a lot of exclusive content that requires you to unlock it through gameplay with time windows of completion, the losses can’t always be recovered. Every release seems to be getting worse. Forza Horizon 5 will be the last Forza game I will buy. It’s the only reason I have an Xbox anymore. On top of that, they don’t easily offer access to support. Not only are they losing a loyal customer, but they’re costing Microsoft future business as well. I don’t even want to get into the content of the game in depth at this point. It’s a skeleton of the previous game, which was already feeling like a gutted version of the prior game. I paid $100 for a new map and a reduced collection of vehicles. I feel like I got ripped off. It’s become as empty as an Ubisoft game. This is a toy designed to be an escape from a long day. Being a point of frustration completely eliminates the purpose of its existence. Well done Forza.
