The Thing About Renee is "She's a Winner." Whether or not she gets the Emmy, she BECAME Pam! I just loved watching her. I would be pulling my hair out if I had to choose between Renee and Sarah Paulson as Linda Tripp in Impeachment: American Crime Story for the Emmy. This show skillfully tells the story of Pam Hupp through excellent writing, directing, and acting. Believe it or not, I even looked forward to what the title of each episode was going to be! Now that is outstanding writing to be waiting for the picture of Pam with this week's title. My fave is "She's Not Who You Think She Is." Best scene is at the beginning of #3, when Keith begs the question, "Who is Pam Hupp?" and Sail Away (Orinoco Flow) by Enya starts to play as Pam walks into the courtroom and everybody is Pam! What a classic musical sequence! It transitions to her and Mark in bed and the logo, "She's a Star Witness." So well done. Renee's acting and the directing in the interrogation room and restroom are remarkable. I also think the music score is unique, eerie, and perfect for the show. Thanks, Dateline. This is phenomenal, informative entertainment.
