This movie stands for a messaging beyond what it be classified into genre-wise. A veteran's plight, their problems, and even the life of the canines that are part of it. It was very efficient in showing both problems faced by humans and dogs alike. The themes are clear and concise. The movie does not try to be more than what it wants to send a message about. Channing is just pure in his performance. He is a promising actor who deserves more opportunities both in acting and directing because he is certainly proving his talents. A beautiful story and a must-watch. I am a dog owner and there is just a string that connects me to such movies and the animals in them.
