Mr. Monk's Last case was an exceptional look into a character's development in the modern world. It did not just pull on the nostalgic strings but also the psyche, sadness, and complications of being Adrian Monk. MR. Shalhoub reminded the audience of why he won so many Emmys during the show's run. He did not miss a step while walking into the life of the character of Adrian Monk. The character and story hints at the fact we all have a certain part of Adrian Monk in all of us, especially today. The ending brought it all together and provided some great answers to the character and motivation.

A lot of potential there but execution was lacking.
