This movie is the most worthless thing I have ever watched. It has insulted my intelligence and left me with billions of questions which should've been answered in the movie. Me and my family decided to sit down and watch a creepy movie not only to be sat completely still when the so called "jump scares" happened and the numerous attempts of creating a creepy scene. The typical scary cellar was set in place with traditional features to it which already gave away the fact that something would happen down there. The most ridiculous part was when the end of the plot was in the middle of a forest miles away from the house. One thing that left me clueless and annoyed was the point of the story where the sister called telling them that the house had been broken into. At no point did they call the sister asking her questions about the house and neighbourhood and nor did the sister check if their okay only Martha who was the creepy neighbour calling them with banana bread. Who was Martha apart from the neighbour? And was her husband really dead? Although the movie was a complete waste of time and a waste of good entertainment all I can really say i liked is the part when the boiler flipped for the first time. I was waiting for the plot to open only to realise it would be switched off a number of times with no question from the mom or Logan. Absolutely ridiculous and shouldn't have been made. It's a disappointment to see it on Netflix.
