Meanwhile, Adhi a lucky go charming guy comes into DIA's life. Will DIA finally find a happy ending in her romantic journey forms the crux of the story. The screenplay and the treatment of the film makes the film stand unique. Hats off to the Film Maker for making the story unpredictable. There is always a suspense factor lying inside this beautiful story of a girl. DIA is not the kind of story we have never seen. But the treatment and the strong emotional connect with the characters make the film a great experience. The character arcs are perfectly etched out for each character in the film. There is not a single scene which is unnecessary. A Gem of a film from Kannada Industry. Don't miss this one. You would surely regret later for not watching DIA. Verdict: 'Masterpiece', 4/5

The film revolves around Pallavi an aspiring pilot who soon becomes a victim of an acid attack.How she overcomes this and will she fly above the sky is the crux of the story..The screenwriters bobby and sanjay has written a fantastic story with the lead character"s character arc etched out perfectly.. Mersal is completely a delight to watch. Vijay"s screenpresence with atlee"s cleaver making makes mersal a winner. Vijay has given one of his best performance and he has worked really hard for this film which is clearly visible on screen. The chemistry between Vijay and Nithya Menon is at best and we get to see that vintage Romantic Vijay.AR.rahman delivers his music perfectly and the songs are adorable though their placement is not so perfect. Mersal is a perfect commercial film with many whistle worthy moments.A very good message conveyed bravely through a bankable star like Vijay. A must watch film for VIjay"s Top Notch Performance.
