Well acted but slow but that allows the actors to show their stuff.

Really, again this is a message driven not story driven. Man bad everything else good. God help us from this propoganda machine.

This movie is a quiet prayer and it is completely understandable for secular people who live in this hyper sexualized world's not to believe that a man can just love another person because they exist. They are to be pittied and prayed for.

Fun entertainment. Ignore the other reviews.

Technical but very good. Thus movie is very realistic with lots of jargon which in my opinion makes it one of the better war movies.

One star that's all because the story fails hugely in talking about the big picture. This is obviously a story told by women and there desire to have control over their lives, which is admirable. But the elephant in the room is that this is a group of holocost survivors trying rebuild a culture after a genocide perpetrated by the Germans.

For me this movie shows that many Catholics lost faith in the church as a result of the sex abuse scandal. And the result the church scandal had unintended consequences and that is hope that many feel from their faith. The irony is that the Redeemer in this movie is not Christ but a priest who to many in this community see as a symbol of abuse but in fact he was the only hope for some and they end up destroying their only hope.
