Wow! Let's hear it for war journalists! Caution: Don't sit there trying to figure out WHY there's this civil war going on. There are para-military factions throughout America with the same objective: to get to the President first and eliminate him. None of these factions like or trust each other, therefore they're at war with each other. This story centers on four journalists who leave New York to get to the White House first to try and interview the president - to get a statement before it's too late. And on the way they get caught up in in the violence and brutality. And for all you Jesse Plemmons fans, he was cast one day before they filmed his scene, at the suggestion of his wife, Kirsten Dunst (sp), who plays a renowned war-time photo journalist. And folks, he's worth the movie! He'll have you on the edge of your seat. Anyway, great performances, sound, cinematography, editing, music. Just don't overthink it.
