Christy Noordhoek

I'm a huge fan of these writers and their work on both seasons of The Missing and Baptiste. Really intricate, exceptional writing in those shows. So I was over the moon when I saw this was coming out. I did enjoy it but it did not have the character development that the other shows had. There was a lot lacking as far character development that I expected to unfold throughout the series in Jack & Harry fashion except it didn't to the level it needed to. I still enjoyed the show - much better than other shows offered and being pumped out by netflix. Wish writers would do away with the graphic love scenes. Its just not necessary and people are tired of it. I did thoroughly enjoy Danielle's character and thought she did a great job with it. Never knew she was actually Australian and am always impressed when someone can take on different accents for a particular character. I would think a Australian accent would be hard to mask but she was great in Birdbox and Dumplin. Overall I still really, really enjoyed the series.
