This was a waste of my time. A Lord of the Fliesโ feel to the entire series starting on day 1. Amal, Missy and J dominated everything with no sense of community, cooperation or kindness toward others. In their mind, they wanted to win and control everything and force others out. Brute strength and boorishness won over survival skills, creativity, and creating connections. Team Fight challenged and took everything from physically smaller contestants, just to hurt them. They then sat around not working, not hunting or foraging, not building anything and whined about starving 24/7 while depriving others of water, tools, spears, pot, sack, etc. What in the world? They had no skills! Rewarded over and over for wanting to bully and dominate. Missy hurt a good player who had to be taken out with a fractured bone in her hand. Libby hurt another by kneeling in her hand. โGood clean fightโ was actually not nice at all and painful to watch. Why were there no other types of contests? Making fire, puzzle solving, endurance, swimming, climbing, speed? It was pretty barbaric with bullies crying about how they were bullied first. I kept watching to see if the underdogs with actual skills and redeeming qualities would win or come out ahead in anything-nope. Just beat up over and over again. Yuck. Missy at one point seemed to realize and show some concern at how she might be portrayed and reached out to others to make connections and try to show some remorse for being a bully -whether genuine or not, it came off fake. Hard to hid your true character. I didnโt watch the final episode because I didnโt care which of the 3 dominant contestant was rewarded with money for sending home a lot of nice people. Donโt start watching this series, it doesnโt improve as you go on, it stinks from the get go. Just read Lord of the Flies to see what people do when left to their own devices on an island with no rules.
