Best Transformers movie since Transformers The Movie from the 80s. It does a great job of being a prequel and being authentic to the original G1 series. It was fun to guess who the characters are and see each of their origin stories. I watched an episode of G1 with the aerobots that go back into time to see Orion Pax and how the miners worked then. I'm glad this movie stayed true to that plot line. There's a lot here to like from a person that grew up on the original series, it's very authentic and well made. I'm totally surprised by Michael Bay here, I didn't think he had it in him to do this. Transformers the Movie is still my favorite, and I've seen it recently to give a fresh perspective without bias, this one would be my second with a huge gap to third.

It's a pretty bad movie. It just seems like a long long random parady. I was buzzed and it was still not that funny. It took three sit downs to finish the movie.
