It was entertaining!
With that said, it had just as many nonsensical survival moments as an 80s movie. SO many moments where they were slow-motion staring at a dinosaur, and the dinosaur was just chilling like someone's pet dog, instead of eating or killing them (like they just stare at each other in plain sight for 5 seconds).
Also, several of the dinosaurs kind of had a retro original Jurassic Park/Star Wars look to them -- rubbery, puppet-like.
So this 4 score is not for the writing, or for the acting. It is because it was entertaining and the set design/ special effects (aside from the rubber dinosaurs) were great.
This may be confusing for those who loved the movies I'm going to mention, but this had a very "Top Gun: Maverick" feel to it -- reminiscent, writing style similar to the old school movies, but far more entertaining. (I felt like Top Gun was boring for much of the movie.)
