Great storyline- what's not to love about dragons bonding to humans in an epic fight against enemy forces?? However it very much reminds me of Anne McCaffrey's Dragonrider of Pern series, and I don't think the world is as well developed as McCaffrey's.
That being said, I did enjoy it!
